MY LOVE THROUGH MY EYES
This 30 second love letter to my girlfriend is set to the track "Luther" by Kendrick Lamar & SZA, with the edit perfectly paced to match the rhythm of the song. Shot during various Christmas themed activities, the video highlights how I see my girlfriend, capturing the intimate and joyful moments we share.
I filmed this piece using a Sony A7IV paired with a Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8 lens, shooting at 24 FPS. The ISO varied between clips to ensure the best exposure for each scene. For color grading, I used CinePrint16 as a base to achieve a nostalgic, filmic look in DaVinci Resolve, followed by editing the clips together in Premiere Pro to create a seamless, dynamic flow. Below, I’ve also included still frames that encapsulate some of the most meaningful moments in the video, offering a glimpse into the emotion behind each shot.
